本次研讨会的主题是“Unleash Your Success with Our Specialty Technology”，华虹NEC总裁兼CEO邱慈云博士在欢迎致辞上回顾了华虹NEC在过去几年所取得的成绩，同时感谢所有客户和合作伙伴长期以来对华虹NEC的大力支持。他表示，华虹NEC一直致力于以极具竞争力的特色工艺和对客户的贴身服务，满足市场需求，与客户合作共赢发展。销售与市场副总裁高峰先生介绍了公司的市场定位和发展策略、他介绍说华虹NEC 2010年的业绩比2009年增长了超过50%，产能利用率超过100%。特别是智能卡和功率类半导体出货量及销售额都刷新了历史纪录。预计2011年销售业绩将会有更大增长。

来自华虹NEC的技术专家，在研讨会上重点介绍了公司先进的嵌入式非挥发性存储平台、功率分立器件技术、模拟及电源管理电路工艺平台以及华虹NEC面向客户需求的设计服务概览。此外，华虹NEC特邀的合作伙伴还在研讨会上展示了包括IP、设计服务、掩模版制造服务以及电子设计自动化等。

紧随台湾站，华虹NEC将陆续于5月6日，5月10日，5月13日分别在上海、北京、深圳举办大陆的三场研讨会，最后一站设于美国硅谷，将于5月20日召开。

Hua Hong NEC 2011 Technology Symposium Kicks Off in Taiwan

(Shanghai， China- April 29th， 2011) Shanghai Hua Hong NEC Electronics Company， Ltd. ("Hua Hong NEC")， one of the leading pure-play foundries in the world， hosted its 2011 technology symposium in Hsinchu， Taiwan on April 28th， which marked the first time the symposium had been held in Taiwan. The symposium attracted more than 100 IC design professionals from all over Taiwan， and provided a forum to share Hua Hong NEC’s latest research achievements and future development among participants. Dr. Tzu-Yin Chiu， President and CEO of Hua Hong NEC， Mr. Sun Ruikun， VP of Hua Hong NEC and Mr. Gao Feng， VP of Sales and Marketing participated in the symposium.

This year’s symposium was named as "Unleash Your Success with Our Specialty Technology". Starting with welcome address， Dr. Chiu introduced Hua Hong NEC’s recent achievements and innovation during the last few years. He also expressed his great gratitude to the customers and partners for their continued support to Hua Hong NEC. In closing， he stated that Hua Hong NEC has long been committed to satisfying market demands with its competitive featured technologies and good customer service to achieve win-win outcome through cooperation.

Moreover， Mr. Gao introduced Hua Hong NEC’s market positioning and development strategies. He said， comparing with the year of 2009， Hua Hong NEC’s sales achieved 50% growth rate in 2010， with more than 100% capacity utilization. Both shipments and sales of smart cards and power semiconductors set a new record. The estimated sales growth will be greater in 2011.

Hua Hong NEC’s technical professionals presented various topics， including advanced embedded NVM technology， power discrete device technology， analog & power management IC technology， as well as overview of customer-oriented design services and IPs. Additionally， the partners of Hua Hong NEC displayed their products during the symposium， including IPs， design services， mask-making services， EDA (electronic design automation) tools and so on.

In addition to Taiwan， Hua Hong NEC will also hold three symposiums in Mainland， including May 6th in Shanghai， May 10th in Beijing and May 13th in Shenzhen. The last symposium will be held in Silicon Valley， USA on May 20th.
